about

this album is the heroic collective effort of twenty-three people who decided that songs are important.

most early bits of acoustic guitar and vocals were recorded at the ohio state university mershon studios on june 14th and 16th of 2016. most piano, percussion, and various other shenanigans were recorded at oranjudio over 48 and 24 hours on august 12th, 13th, and 20th of 2016. saxophones, horns, trombone, strings, bass, and pedal steel were recorded at mershon studios on april 11th, 19th, 25th, and 26th of 2017. other sounds, except for a vw bus in michigan, were recorded in the wilds of columbus, ohio.
